The associate position is an entry-level position at North Head.
An associate supports specific account teams in multiple ways. An understanding of the business of North Head and the general marketplace is expected from a candidate. Associates perform fundamental PA tasks such as monitoring, research, and organizing of policy and industry information relevant to clients. They also help in managing client documents, and support other activities.
Research and Writing:
Review consumer, trade, government and/or business media and data for client-related information; draw conclusions based on coverage
Follow policy trends and conduct related research
Draft policy research reports based on clients’ needs
Proof and edit client-related documents Knowledge of Chinese healthcare system and policy, including but not limited to pharmaceuticals, medical devices, medical insurance, hospitals, etc., is preferred but not required.
Support client projects on policy and business-related issues
Participate in client meetings and presentations
Prepare client-meeting reports
Actively participate in agency development and assist with new business
Balance workload between accounts and account staff to ensure that all work is accurate and completed within established deadlines
Continually communicate with manager
Contribute to program planning and account management by researching budgets, attending brainstorms, and managing purchase orders, as directed by supervisor(s)
Event and Media-related tasks:
Provide support for client events
As needed, draft media relations materials and contribute to media planning processes
